About the Hamlet
The McLean Hamlet is a beautiful, well-established neighborhood located in McLean Virginia. Just a short commute from Washington D.C. and centered in the heart of Tysons Corner, our neighborhood consists of 507 homes built between 1965 and 1995. It is a diverse community, with residents from 30 different countries, and various stages of life.
Each house is situated on a one-third to two-thirds acre lot. While there are several different styles of houses represented in the community, there are generally clusters of styles that balances diversity with architectural consistency.
Distinctive features:
Wide streets: Wider streets than almost any other Northern Virginia communities with no through traffic.
Extensive network of sidewalks: Residents can take walks, jog, or ride their bikes safely.
2 public parks: Falstaff Park (near Desdemona Court) includes a playground and gazebo in a nicely shaded area. McLean Hamlet Park is an open park with enough open space for a kids' pickup soccer game, and a trail that connects the park to the pool.
The Hamlet Swim and Tennis Club: a pool and 4 tennis courts located at the end of Dunsinane Court. By agreement, wait list priority is given to Hamlet residents.
Underground utilities enable unobstructed views of our mature landscaping and gardens, and uniform street lighting makes it possible to enjoy evening walks at any time.
2 metro stops (Silver Line) about 5 minutes away.
Superb public schools, consistently rated among the best in the nation.
