We are excited to host our annual neighborhood picnic this year on Sunday, September 18, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the McLean Hamlet Park (corner of Falstaff Road and MacBeth).

Please RSVP and let us know if you will be able to attend AND also the number of people from your family who plan to come. This will allow us to plan accordingly for food and other activities.

We have lots of fun activities for your families, including food trucks, games, DJ, bouncy house, obstacle course, and much more.

So far we have a good weather forecast, but in the event of rain/inclement weather, the rain date for the picnic is the following Sunday, September 25, same time and place.

We are also looking for volunteers. Please consider giving a little bit of your time to help make the picnic a success, and if you have teens, this is a great opportunity for them to earn volunteer hours.

Mark your calendars for the picnic! We look forward to seeing everyone!

Did you know the MHCA offers a list of neighbor-to-neighbor services to our paid members via the updated AtoZ platform? The list includes neighborhood babysitting, petsitting, dog walking, house sitting, tutoring, grass cutting, car washing, errand running and more!

  • If you would like to offer a service, please fill out this form.

  • If you are interested in viewing the Services List, simply log-in to AtoZ. The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Services List is on the left side menu bar. Please note if you are not a paid member you will not be able to view the list.

*Note: the Services List is intended for youths and adults looking for paid or volunteer opportunities to assist neighbors. The list is NOT intended for family-owned businesses or to promote local businesses.

The MHCA sends out a quarterly newsletter about issues of interest to the neighborhood. You can find an archive of past newsletters here.
